「「CAFE AALTO 新丸ビル」はフィンランド・ヘルシンキで長年人々から愛されている「CAFE AALTO」の支店として東京にオープンしました。フィンランドスタイルのシナモンロールやブルーベリーパイ、伝統的な家庭料理のサーモンスープなどのほか、コーヒー、お酒などを提供するオールデイダイニングです。

「CAFE AALTO」にしかない、フィンランドを代表する建築家アルヴァ・アアルトがデザインした黒レザーに真鍮フレームの椅子、大理石や木のテーブルなどが復元、使用されています。アアルトの世界観に浸り、フィンランドのライフスタイルが体感できるカフェとしてお楽しみください。食器はフィンランドを代表するテーブルウェアブランドIittalaがサポート。アイノ・アアルトが手がけたタンブラーや、カイ・フランクによるタイムレスなデザインが特徴の「Teema」シリーズを中心に使用しています。

CAFE AALTO in Tokyo is the overseas branch of CAFE AALTO, a much-loved institution in Helsinki, Finland. It offers an all-day menu featuring Finnish-style cinnamon rolls and blueberry pie, traditional delicacies such as salmon soup, as well as coffee, alcoholic beverages, and other drinks. The furniture—including marble tables and black leather chairs with brass frames—is modeled after designs created by the renowned Finnish architect Alvar Aalto exclusively for CAFE AALTO in Helsinki.

CAFE AALTO in Tokyo invites guests to immerse themselves in the world of Alvar Aalto and experience the Finnish lifestyle. The café, supported by the leading Finnish tableware brand Iittala, primarily uses tumblers designed by Aino Aalto and pieces from the Teema series, known for its timeless design by Kaj Franck.
